Right to restriction of processing: You have the right to request that we restrict the processing of your data under certain circumstances.

Right to object to processing: You have the right to object to processing if we are permitted to process your data because the processing is in our legitimate interest. If you have given us your consent, you can revoke it at any time with effect for the future.

Right to data portability: This only applies to data that you have provided to us. You have the right to request that we transfer the data you have provided from one organization to another or hand it over to you. This right only applies if we process data on the basis of your consent or in the context of or in negotiations for the conclusion of a contract and the processing is carried out automatically.

4) How do we obtain your information

Most of the personal data we process is provided to us directly by you. This usually happens for one of the following reasons:

  • You have sent us an enquiry.
  • You visit our website and agree to the use of cookies.

5) General data processing

Type and purpose of processing: When you visit our website without registering or providing any other information, we automatically collect general information. This information (server log files) may include details such as the web browser and operating system used, the domain name of the internet service provider, the IP address, the referrer URL and the date and time of access.

This data is processed for the following purposes:

  • To ensure a smooth connection to the website
  • To ensure the smooth use of our website
  • To ensure and evaluate the security and stability of the system, in particular to detect misuse
  • To ensure the technically error-free display and optimization of our website

We will not use your data to draw conclusions about you as an individual. However, if there are concrete indications of illegal use, we reserve the right to check the server log files subsequently.

Legal basis and legitimate interest: Our processing activities are based on our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR) in improving the stability and functionality of our website, ensuring system security, and preventing misuse.

Recipients: We use technical service providers to operate and maintain our website; these providers act as our processors. All of our service providers are contractually obliged to keep your data confidential.

Storage period: The data is stored in server log files in a form that allows to identify the persons concerned for up to 90 days, provided that no security-related event occurs (e.g. a DDoS attack). In the event of such an incident, the server log files will be stored until the security-related problem has been resolved and fully clarified.

Required or necessary provision: Providing personal data is neither legally nor contractually required. However, without this data, we cannot guarantee the functionality and performance of our website. Certain services and/or content may also be unavailable or only available to a limited extent.

6) Data processing when you contact us

Type and purpose of processing: Our website features a contact form that can be used to get in touch with us electronically or to ask about our products. If you choose this option, any personal data you enter into the form will be transmitted to and stored by us. We will only use your personal data to handle your enquiry.

The following data is also stored when the message is sent: 

  • Date and time of the enquiry
  • URL from which the enquiry was made
  • Selected page language
  • User identification (“by user”)
  • Web browser and operating system

Alternatively, you can contact us via the email addresses provided. In this case, the user’s personal data transmitted with the email will be stored. This includes the date and time the email was sent, the email address, IP addresses and information about the servers involved in the email communication.

Regardless of the type of communication you choose, we collect the content of your enquiry. Your data is stored for the purpose of individual communication with you.

Legal basis and legitimate interest: The data entered into the contact form is processed on the basis of legitimate interests, as defined in Art. 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. Our legitimate interest in processing your data is to make it easy for you to contact us.

If you request a quote, the information you provide will be used for pre-contractual purposes (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Recipients: We use technical service providers to operate and maintain our website. These providers act as our processors. All of our service providers are contractually obliged to keep your data confidential.

Storage period: The data will be deleted no later than 6 months after processing the enquiry. If a contractual relationship is established, we are subject to the statutory retention periods and will delete your data after six or ten years.

Required or necessary provision: The provision of personal data is neither legally nor contractually required. However, we can only process your enquiry if you provide us with the necessary information and details regarding the reasons for your enquiry.

No non-essential or third-party cookies are set without your consent, because we do not integrate any tools or services that require such consent.

8) Data Security

We only handle personal data in accordance with data protection regulations. We also endeavor to take all necessary technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal data from unauthorized access and misuse at all times.

Where we store or process personal data, this is done within a high-security data center. To protect the security of your data during transmission, we use encryption methods (e.g. SSL) via HTTPS. Our servers are secured by firewalls and virus protection. Back-up and recovery procedures as well as role and authorization concepts are a matter of course for us.

Our employees are obliged to comply with the provisions of the GDPR and national data protection laws when handling data.

9) Information regarding your right to object in terms of Art. 21 GDPR

Right to object in individual cases

You have the right to object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to the processing of personal data concerning you which is carried out on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (data processing based on a balancing of interests); this also applies to profiling based on this provision within the meaning of Article 4(4) GDPR.

If you object, we will no longer process your personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.

Recipients of an objection

The objection can be sent informally to the above contact details, stating the subject “Objection” and your name, e-mail address or other identification data.

Our website may contain links to third-party websites, the content of which is beyond our control. Therefore, we do not accept any liability for the content of these external websites.
